The Republican Party has a long history of conservatism, strong military, fiscal responsibility, and small government. The current version isn’t close on any of these points. The sole reason is Trump. Hence, the sole solution is Trump.

If the Conservative core of the old Republican Party wants to reclaim their Party, then they must rid themselves of Trump. The surest way to accomplish this is to defeat him overwhelmingly in the upcoming presidential election.

Now, here comes the hard part. To ensure his destruction, Conservative GOP voters must not only not vote for him but must vote for Harris. Only by losing by a HUGE margin will he get the message. Once he is assigned to the trash heap of history, the next generation of leaders can reclaim the Republican Party.

The new leaders should come from the slate of successful Republican Governors. This group has hands-on management experience and can negotiate with opposition parties to accomplish governing. The current collection of GOP Senators has kissed Trump's ring, along with other parts of his anatomy, to be of any use. The new GOP will eventually replace them with a new generation of Senators willing to negotiate for successful outcomes for the Country.

The key to this resurrection is successfully removing Trump from the Republican Party. So cross your fingers, hold your nose, vote for Harris, and reorganize your political lives.
